Executive Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Tynyrheol Primary School.

It is a privilege to serve as Executive Headteacher of this warm and vibrant community school in the heart of Llangeinor. Tynyrheol has a long-standing reputation for nurturing, inclusive education, and I am delighted to work alongside such dedicated staff, supportive families, and enthusiastic pupils. Together, we create an environment where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired to achieve their very best.

Our vision is simple yet powerful: to ensure that our pupils are happy, safe, and developing a genuine love of learning. We believe that children thrive when they feel secure, confident, and encouraged to explore the world around them. This means offering rich learning experiences, celebrating individuality, and helping children grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.

At Tynyrheol, we take pride in being a true community school. Strong relationships lie at the heart of what we do between pupils, staff, families, and the wider community. We work closely with parents and carers to build a shared understanding of how best to support each child’s journey, recognising that education is most powerful when we work together.

Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and creativity, offering memorable opportunities that help children discover their talents and interests. We encourage our learners to be resilient, reflective, and ready for the challenges of an ever-changing world. Above all, we want them to enjoy their time with us, to laugh, to learn, and to leave with the confidence to take on whatever comes next.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Tynyrheol Primary School. I warmly invite you to visit us and experience the welcoming atmosphere that makes our school such a special place.
