Whether you are an existing parent, a prospective parent or have recently enrolled your child at our school, I hope the information contained in this website will be of use to you. If you any queries about specific areas or would like further information, please contact the school and make an appointment with the school secretary. When your child joins us, we hope that he/she enjoys himself/herself whilst they are a pupil here, that they do their best and that they learn well. We hope that this will be the beginning of a long and lasting relationship between ourselves, your children and yourselves the parents. A visit to the school would certainly show you what an exciting colourful place it is, supported by the excellent work of our staff. Our aim at Tynyrheol Primary School is to create a caring, safe environment, one in which we work hard to get on with each other; one in which your child will learn to be both literate and numerate and be stretched to his/her full ability, to give him/her experiences so that they become inquisitive to the world about them, that they learn to investigate their surroundings and most of all, they enjoy the whole process of learning. 'A happy school works hard' is our motto and is central to our philosophy in all aspects of our work. We seek to achieve these results through a strong partnership with home, school and the community. We seek the support of parents as an essential element in the success of your child’s education and to this end we endeavour to cement a lasting relationship between the school and yourselves.
